ROGER EBERT

Roger Ebert was an American film critic, film historian, journalist, essayist, screenwriter, and author. He wrote for the Chicago Sun-Times from 1967 until his death in 2013. In 1975, Ebert received the Pulitzer Prize for Criticism. In that same year, he and Gene Siskel of the Chicago Tribune began co-hosting Opening Soon at a Theater Near You, later picked up for national syndication on PBS.
