In 1970, Kiebdaj shared a studio at the Community Arts Foundation in Chicago where he helped develop a marionette puppet theater with fellow artist James Korf. In Minnesota, the puppet theatre evolved to include horse-drawn tinker wagons, promoting conservancy and ecological awareness.
